Tensions are running high in Maharashtra’s Sindhudurg district following the collapse of a statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. In response, the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) is set to hold a protest march against the Shinde government in Mumbai today. The march will start at 10 AM from Hutatma Chowk and proceed through Balasaheb Thackeray Chowk, ending at the Gateway of India. Prominent leaders, including Sharad Pawar, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray, and Maharashtra Congress President Nana Patole, along with other MVA leaders and supporters, will participate in the demonstration. The march is expected to draw significant attention as the MVA rallies against the current government, highlighting the political unrest sparked by the statue’s collapse.
