India vs Australia LIVE Cricket Score, 4th Test Day 2: Bumrah & Co. hunt for quick wickets at MCG; AUS 311/6

IND vs AUS 4th Test Day 2, Live Score: After a see-sawing Boxing Day opener, India will aim to fight back hard with early wickets on day two of the fourth Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test against Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Friday.

Rohit Sharma’s men were left shell-shocked amidst a record-breaking 87,000-plus crowd on Thursday when 19-year-old debutant Sam Konstas butchered their pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah. With a blend of his unconventional strokeplay and fearless attitude, Konstas pumped Bumrah for a reverse-ramped scoop after multiple failed attempts, marking the first Test six the India seamer had conceded in over three years and 4500-plus deliveries bowled!

The Australian top-order made merry a day after Christmas, with Konstas, Usman Khawaja, Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith crossing the half-century mark. Though Bumrah’s late resurgence curtailed Australia to 311 for six before stumps, India will hope to make a swift turnaround to snap Australia’s advantage in the contest.
