India A tour of Australia: Full squads, IND vs AUS match schedule, dates


India A (IND-A) vs Australia (AUS-A) 2024: The BCCI on Monday announced a 15-member India A squad, led by Ruturaj Gaikwad for the upcoming tour of Australia. The tour comprises two First-Class matches against Australia A, closely followed by a three-day intra-squad game against the senior India team ahead of the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

The India A team will have Abhimanyu Easwaran acting as Ruturaj’s deputy. Several players, including wicket-keeper Ishan Kishan and all-rounder Nitish Kumar Reddy, will be in focus for India A. Kishan is one of the two wicketkeeper batters to be picked for the team along with Abhishek Porel. The team will depart for Australia on October 24.

India A schedule

The India A (IND-A) vs Australia (AUS-A) 2024 tour commences with the opening First-Class match in Mackay, starting on October 31. Following this, the second match will be held in Melbourne Cricket Ground from 7th-10th November 2024, followed by the final encounter, which will be an intrasquad game against the senior India team, starting on 15th November in Perth.

October 31-November 3: First four-day match, Mackay

November 7-10: Second four-day match, Melbourne

November 15-17: Intra-squad game
