The army successfully neutralized one terrorist, although one soldier was injured in the operation, which is still ongoing. In recent weeks, daily encounters between security forces and terrorists have been reported across various districts of Jammu and Kashmir. The army has also thwarted several infiltration attempts along the Line of Control (LoC). On Tuesday, July 23, another encounter took place in Kupwara during an anti-terror operation by security forces. The confrontation began in the Lolab area after security forces received information about terrorists near Trimukha Top. Kashmir division police confirmed the operation via a post on social media platform X.
