IPL Auction 2025: Who are the India international players listed in uncapped category for mega auction?

IPL 2025 Auction Players List: The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 Mega Auction is slated to be held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on November 24 & 25 with 574 players listed to go under the hammer.

A total of 574 players have been shortlisted for the upcoming IPL auction. Among them, 366 are Indian players and 208 are overseas players, including three from associate nations. The auction pool includes 330 uncapped players: 318 Indians and 12 overseas. With 204 slots available across the 10 franchises, 70 of these are reserved for overseas players. The highest reserve price is set at Rs 2 crore, with 81 players opting for this bracket.

Interestingly, a new BCCI rule has meant a host of senior Indian players who have represented the country will also be marked in the ‘uncapped category’. According to the new rule announced before the IPL 2025 retentions earlier this year, the BCCI announced that any player who has not received a BCCI annual contract in the last five years or represented the country in this period will be marked as an uncapped player for the upcoming season.

The rule enabled five-time champions Chennai Super Kings to retain their talisman and former captain, MS Dhoni, for as low as Rs 4 crore by the retention deadline on October 31.

Here is a look at the other Indian internationals who will be marked in the uncapped category for the IPL auction:
